At the West Valley Hospital patients are cared for in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. Our services not only focus on the treatment of existing conditions, but also on preventive medicine for the entire family.

West Valley Hospital is a 131-bed, acute care hospital located in Goodyear and affiliated with Abrazo Health Care. In addition to West Valley Hospital, Abrazo Health Care includes Phoenix Baptist Hospital, Phoenix Memorial Hospital, Maryvale Hospital, Arrowhead Hospital and Paradise Valley Hospital. Abrazo Health Care also owns and operates five TMC Advanced Imaging Centers and the Phoenix Health Plan (a Medicaid AHCCCS plan).

Emergencies
Because emergencies are unplanned and accidents happen, it is important to have medical emergency facilities nearby and prepared to respond at a moments notice. When it comes to getting treatment for medical emergencies, our location is ideal, easily accessible and within minutes of neighboring communities. The West Valley Hospital emergency room is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week with staff specially trained in emergency medicine for both the adult and pediatric patient.

Visitor Information
General visitor hours are daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Our staff encourages visitors and promotes a healing environment because we believe visitors can be good medicine for patients. However, patient care is our primary concern and specific visiting hours and regulations have been established for some patient care areas.
